About Jenny
Sources of inspiration for Jenny Rose Art stem from an eclectic mix of 'anything and everything', but in particular, the East End of London and Spitalfields where artist Jenny Rose has lived all her life.
Jenny Rose Art is produced in an organic way. An picture may evolve into several versions of different colours and tones. Jenny employs her heightened sense of colour awareness to transform prints from subtle sepia tones to saturated hot colours.
Text is used in Jenny's prints with sentiment or humour, either as a basis on which a collage is built or as layers are added to photo pictures. Jenny Rose final original artworks incorporate a diverse mix of collage, etching, screen-printing and photography.
